SMS' rigid endoscope repair lab utilizes state of the art equipment. Its rigid scope technicians are highly trained and experienced in all manufacturer models of rigid scopes, having completed over 10,000 repairs.

Repair Process
SMS receives a rigid scope for repair and enters it into its database. A repair number is assigned by the system and a repair report is generated which follows the scope through the entire repair cycle. The scope is then evaluated for color, clarity and light output according to the manufacturer’s specifications. An estimate is calculated and communicated to the customer. Once approval is received from the customer, the repair is completed and the scope is subjected to a final inspection. The scope is then delivered or shipped to the customer with a 90 day warranty on parts and labor.
All customers may check on the status of a repair by accessing their account online.
Repair Capability
SMS rigid scope technicians are extensively trained in all manufacturer models of rigid scopes. This expertise allows SMS to repair rigid scopes as quickly as possible, with a usual turnaround time of one 2 to 3 days.
Specialty scopes and complete rebuilds may require additional time.
If SMS is unable to perform the repair on your scope, it will be returned to you at no charge or forwarded to the manufacturer at your request.
