Specialty Medical Systems offers our customers the option of placing an SMS repair facility within the confines of a health care facility. This unique service allows both SMS and the customer additional flexibility to accomplish proper repair and maintenance of surgical instrumentation when difficult circumstances present themselves. • Lack of available instrument sets (sets that need service are always being used).
• On-Site day is the same day(s) every month (always have the same sets going out for repair).
• Second, third and weekend shift services (allows SMS to work around your schedule).
• Batch servicing by clinical discipline (multiple service technicians can allow for high output).
• In-Line service requirements (our service techs become a part of the OR team).
• Logistical challenges for traditional On-Site repairs (parking, hook-ups, noise, construction, etc).
